Three Exercises To Improve Self Esteem

Loving yourself is empowering your self-esteem. Many people do not know how to love themselves or even like themselves. But the truth is people do not become successful by hating themselves. They do it by believing in themselves.

Here are three exercises that will help improve your self-esteem:

  1. Practice self awareness. Why are you really feeling down? Is the situation something you have control over? Don’t stress over situations you have no control over. What have you accomplished? Focus on your achievements as well as the positives in your life.
  2. Imagine saying it to a loved one. Imagine saying your negative thoughts to someone you love. If your wouldn’t say it to them or treat them that way then you shouldn’t be thinking them about yourself.
  3. Create an I’m amazing board. Create a board on poster board with your favorite memories about yourself. Put reminders of your accomplishments on it. List all your favorite qualities about yourself. Focus on what you like about yourself. Afterwards you will feel much better about yourself.

These are just a few ways to help improve your-self esteem. Sometimes we all need a reminder that we don’t need to be our biggest critics but we need to be our biggest fans a supporters.
